0.BreakOut: Transitions

Date:

0.BreakOut Workshops are half-day sessions dedicated to a specific core concept.

Classes are either AM (0830-1230) or PM (1300-1600) sessions

0. BreakOut: Transitions is a live-fire firearms training workshop focused on one core skill: knowing when to address a malfunction and when to transition to an alternative solution. A gun that doesn’t fire is not the end of the fight—it’s a problem that demands fast, informed decision-making. Should you clear the malfunction? Draw a backup pistol? Transition to a rifle or shotgun? Move to a knife, your feet, or rely on your partner? This course teaches you to remain flexible, adaptable, and confident under stress.

Students will participate in live-fire transition drills that test critical thinking, weapon handling, and adaptability in real-time. You’ll learn how to evaluate problems with your firearm, when to troubleshoot, and when to transition to another option so you can stay in the fight.

At ZeroPoint Training, our mission is to build confidence and capability from the very first class. By the end of BreakOut: Transitions, you’ll not only understand how to fix firearm malfunctions and execute transitions, but you’ll also have the mindset to make the right choice at the right time.
